It seems Ludmila plays the role of Ellen here but is he set for a single pairing only.

I am concerned about this Ludmila version because in the original she was a superb tactician excelling in defense, and is a outstanding archer along with stealth.
I know that Lim refused the weapon but now there is no Vanadis of Fire.
I know how everyone behaved on the original series but how are all the characters different on the new series.
The two characters that should have been given better fates are Sasha and the Valentina.
Getting really worried about posting comments regarding the stories in fear of it getting quoted as information without check from second opinion. There could be inaccuracies.
Some interesting parts
In the prologue, when Roland rest in an abandoned temple, he and Olivier found destroyed idol, and mural depicting three goddesses. One of them is holding bow. Roland said, the temple might be dedicated for Tir Na Fal. Which is interesting. Probably that's the root of Brune's aversion to arrow, but it doesn't explain why Zhcted didn't share the view.
Regin is a princess. Faron raised her as a prince.
There's also a lot of back story about Ganelon, which could explain how he is unlike the other demons.
Ganelon is a person who lives in the forest. He can converse with the spirits and distance himself from human, although he did came out to help people, such as healing sickness.
Charles dragged him out and asks Ganelon to join his mission. Ganelon became Charles' oldest and most loyal follower. He did his best, and even when they failed battles, Charles never blamed him.
After Charles became king, Ganelon stayed by his side, fighting enemies. This includes demon, such as Koschei whom he devoured. Unfortunately this made Ganelon became inhuman. He no longer grew older. Yet, Ganelon keep servicing his king, and then the next kings. He did his best to hide his identity, by making fake relatives, and only came out after long period when nobody living still remember his face. Even then, he still keep his distance, because to him, there are nobody he wants to interact with, that he would risk having his immortality known. Charles is the only person he respected, and even if he serve the kings of Brune, none of them compare to the founder king.
From the talk with Baba Yeager, Ganelon had no intention of calling Tir Na Fal to the world. Neither does Baba Yeager, so currently only Drekavac and Zmei is still in that mission. Drekavac is beaten badly by Ganelon, while Zmei is currently doing something in Muozinel. Because Muozinel is showing no sign of invading Brune, Ganelon assume they have another more important thing in their mind.
Ganelon's plan is instead to bring back Charles, the one king he serves (err... Carnwenhann story?). For that, it seems like Ifrikia (the kingdom beyond southern sea (probably comparable to North Africa), where Bachelard's mother is from, is going to play important role.
Still got about 80 pages left.
I find doubtful that these ladies stayed chaste with their incredible beauty and buxom bodies.
Madan no ou Vanadis volume 14 has been picked up by ‘infinite novel translations’ this volume delves into Mouzinel’s 2nd invasion of Brune. Tigre is made commander of Brune’s armies, Regin shows her true courage during the siege of Nice, alongside Ludmila, and Lim. The translators are more than half-way through chapter 4 of this volume. They need more patrons in order to speed up the release dates of this series, so if anyone reading this is interested there is a Patreon account for this series. The account requires 40 or more patrons in order to speed up the release dates, currently they are at 9 out of 40 patrons. If you are interested go to infinite novel translations.
At the middle of chapter 3 right now
Ludie came with an impact. Although Mila looks like childhood friend character, she's actually more of a middle school friend who Tigre starts dating. Ludie is more the typical love comedy childhood friend who can be really close as if forgetting they're man and woman. But, from overview of the whole plot, it's like Kawaguchi just drop her into the game without any foreshadowing.
There is hint about Regnas is also a female in this timeline. Thernadier know there is a secret reason why it would be difficult for Regnas to assume the throne (Faron also knows Thernadier knows). There's also how Regnas' two escorts are female knights. Ludie also quickly deny when asked if she is one of Regnas' wife candidate (and the way she deny it doesn't seem like the typical "I don't want the boy I like to think I'm in relationship with someone else" denial).
Roland goes from "Damn, dragons" to "Oh, Durandal works. I got this covered" ^^;;;
Roland now already knows Ganelon is a demon.
Drekavac is not happy with Ganelon poking his head into Drekavac's plan.
Ludie checked in the list of girls Tigre had seen naked.
Bachelard and Tallard, while they're under Ganelon's political influence, I hope they can outsmart and give the old man trouble.
Tigre still being a blockhead. He knows well he got a girlfriend already even if they can't say it out loud, but still often get overly close to Ludie. Probably can't sense that unamused look Mila is giving him.
Something about the nation in the south (which Germaine talked about before in volume 4). Long time ago, relatives of the king performed a coup, and the royal family, along with some nobles, escaped. Those who escaped to Asvarre and Muozinel (who has trade relationship) are mostly extradited. Brune tried giving them asylum, but many died in stress from living in a foreign country with vastly different language and culture. A noble girl got into relationship with Faron, but decided to go away once she knew she is pregnant with Faron's child (Bachelard). Since then they never met again. Faron accepted Bachelard as his son, but would rather protect his son from politics and succession crisis, so he doesn't give Bachelard any rights to the throne.
